Job Description: 

  • Will provide customer service by acknowledging customer; identifying customer needs; assisting w/ purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving customer issues & concerns & promoting products & services while maintaining a safe shopping environment.
  • Will fulfill customer orders by reviewing orders; locating, preparing & packaging merchandise; ensuring accuracy of orders prior to pick-up; making appropriate product substitutions & consulting w/ customer as needed to ensure satisfaction; following up on out-of-stock merchandise
  • Will operate equipment such as cash registers & related tools, to process customer purchases using appropriate procedures for different payment types & items sold.
  • Will help generate new business & associated revenue by actively promoting dept. services & offerings to customers; responding to customer inquiries & requests; helping customers register for dept. services; & soliciting feedback from customers about our online shopping experience.
  • Will safely and cheerfully transport and deliver purchases to customer vehicles.
  • Will maintain inventory accuracy for the facility by binning & picking merchandise utilizing the inventory management system, completing bin audits, working inventory exceptions & correcting shelf capacities.
  • Complies w/ company policies & procedures & standards of ethics & integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy; & applying these in executing business processes & practices.
  • Completes work assignments & priorities using policies, data & resources, collaborating w/ managers, co-workers, customer & other business partners, identifying deadlines, carrying out tasks, communicating progress & information, & adapting & learning from change, difficulties & feedback.
  • Will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities & duties throughout the facility and/or as necessary.

 

Details: Part-time hours will vary up to 33 hours per week, must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Starting wage is $14.00 per hour.

Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years of age and able to do medium lifting up to 50 pounds. Must have customer service skills.
