The Refrigeration Technician will perform field service maintenance and remedial and emergency repairs on telecommunication and data center HVAC equipment. Equipment consists of Liebert, Data Air, Marvair, Bard, Carrier, Trane, and glycol systems. 

Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of HVAC systems 
Perform routine preventative maintenance 
Respond to emergency service requests 
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures 
Assist field personnel in other arears as required 

Minimum Qualifications: 

Education
HS Diploma or Equivalent  
 
Certification / License
Must Have Passed State Refrigeration Exam 
Valid current driver's license and driving record that meets company standards required 
Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Certificate 
EPA Certification  

Work Experience
5+ years of experience in HVAC service and repair. 

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Ability to read and understand schematics, diagnostic skills on basic refrigeration and electronic control circuits utilizing latest monitoring tools and dexterity to repair field problems 
Ability to provide accurate and timely documentation, reporting and commentary, which accurately reflect field conditions 
Capable of being self-managed, independent, and have positive attitude. 
Understanding of telecommunications and data center operations 
Strong aptitude to learn new technologies and systems 
Extensive daily travel with independent work structure 
Serve on a rotating on call team to respond to emergency calls. 
Basic computer skills required 
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen 

Preferred Job Requirements
Education
HVAC Trade School Degree 

Certification / License
State Issued Refrigeration License

Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives.
