We are looking for a Pediatric RN Supervisor to work for one of our external clients, a multi-service certified home care organization, located in Brooklyn, NY.
This is a permanent, full-time job, Monday-Friday, 40hrs/week, days.

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing Pediatric Field RNs, updating current policies/forms, and directing quality patient care .
An ideal candidate would be a graduate of accredited school of nursing, and currently registered in New York State as a Registered Professional Nurse. MUST have a minimum of 2 years pediatric nursing experience, Supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Oversee and lead the pediatric nursing team within the home care agency.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to pediatric RNs and healthcare staff.
- Ensure that pediatric patients receive high-quality, individualized care at home.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and therapists, to
- Recruit, train, and orient new pediatric nursing staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Address any issues or conflicts within the team and facilitate resolution.
- Ensure that all care provided adheres to relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including care plans and progress notes.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures.
- Serve as a liaison between the pediatric nursing team and other departments within the agency.
- Communicate effectively with patients’ families to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with care.
- Organize and facilitate ongoing training sessions for pediatric nursing staff.
- Stay current with best practices and evidence-based care for pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement emergency response protocols for pediatric patients in home care settings.
- Ensure that nursing staff are trained on emergency procedures and can respond effectively to urgent situations.
- Manage and allocate resources efficiently, including nursing staff, medical supplies, and equipment.
- Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure a consistent supply of necessary pediatric care items.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall care provided by the pediatric nursing team.
- Analyze data related to patient outcomes and use this information to make informed decisions about improvements.
