Varian seeks a Sales Support Specialist for its Advanced Oncology Solutions team. The position will report directly to the Managing Director, Advanced Oncology Solutions, as well as support the Advanced Oncology Solutions Sales team.
This individual will partner with the Advanced Oncology Solutions Sales team to provide analytical and administrative support to drive efficiencies and successes for the Advanced Oncology Solutions products and services.

The job role will include, but not be limited to each of the following:
Provide administrative support to the Managing Director, Advanced Oncology Solutions, including calendar, expense, and travel management. Must be able to understand business needs, apply judgment to triaging issues as they come in and work with the Managing Director to bring attention to high priority items.
Manage sales forecast and pipeline by compiling reports, meeting with team members, and interpreting data to ensure accuracy and timely updates of reports and dashboards dedicated to the sales team
Act as Team Lead for calls/meetings from start to finish, from selecting a date and inviting the appropriate attendees to clarifying the agenda and sending follow-ups, to-dos, key dates, etc.
Create, lead, and monitor sales support documentation, guidelines, and standard operating procedures, including collecting leads, processing orders, and managing follow-up procedures
Coordinate with company personnel at all organizational levels to gather information and prepare reports and/or presentations for submission to management
Assist other departments to enhance systems and processes as indicated by the needs of the business and perform other duties as assigned
Work is generally of a critical or confidential nature

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:
Self-starters who can maintain a fast-pace and possess strong organizational skills, as well as exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, external and internal customers, and work effectively in a team environment
Experience with tools from the Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with CRM tools: Salesforce, SAP, or Varian Unity
5+ years of related experience

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
Sales Team-focused support experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field

The base pay range for this position is

Min $48,700 - Max $83,200

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
