| Job Description: |
Our Independent Living Advisors provide guidance to students in the dormitories and help them gain the social and life skills needed for achievement in the program, employment and self-sufficiency. At the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR), we have creative and caring staff who help our students realize their potential.
MAIN DUTIES:
• Foster effective group living relations and promote a positive atmosphere
• Assure accurate accountability of students, maintain records and report incidents
• Direct and assist with activities and engage with students
• Perform room inspections and assist with cleaning and sanitizing
• Serve as a role model; mentor and monitor students
WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time working five days per week on one of the following shifts
• Evening Shift (3:00 pm to midnight)
• Overnight Shift (11:30 pm to 8:30 am)
• Swing Shift (2:00 11:00 pm on class days and 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on non-class days)
