| Job Description: |
"Ameriprise Financial is seeking a Finance Manager to support expense analytics within Ameriprise Financial Wealth Management. This is an exciting opportunity to drive profitability within Ameriprise Financial. The ideal candidate will conduct analysis to support forecasting and will create and maintain complex financial models for a large expense base.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop reports and variance analysis, develop "the story" around monthly results and write resulting commentary. Identify issues that are worthy of further root cause analysis and determine process/data sources to deal with them. Support business results and relationships by developing deep analysis to determine future implications of business decisions. Perform end-to-end analysis looking at quantitative and qualitative aspects of a decision. Provide initial recommendation based on these analyses.Own and develop forecasting/planning models and perform complex variance analysis for significant pools of expense. Ad hoc requests are commonplace in this role.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent (4-years) in a Financial/Quantitative field5-7 years of proven experienceAbility to complete advanced financial modeling tasks and financial analysis using spreadsheets and/or other tools.Interpersonal and business skills to support recommendations.Preferred QualificationsMay have MBA or other advanced degree/certification.About Our CompanyWe're a diversified financial services leader with more than $1 trillion in assets under management and administration.
