When you step into our workspace, you become part of a team that shares a common goal: to deliver excellence. Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide crucial support to ensure the efficient operation of our office and sales team. This is an in-person position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Salary will be based on experience. Duties/Responsibilities: Reception. Answering phone calls in a polite and professional manner and directing them to the correct team members. Taking and following up on incoming leads. Welcoming visitors at the front desk. Customer Service & Sales. Taking and following up on leads will require you to learn our products so that you can answer customer questions, make recommendations to customers based on their needs, and ascertain all necessary information to enable the Pricing Team to price out the project. Scheduling & Coordination. This position manages the schedule for the rest of the Sales Team. This involves maintaining the calendar, reaching out to various associations to ascertain meeting times, and coordinating with the Sales Team as to who can attend what. Sales Team Support. Assist in preparing the Sales Teams materials for meetings and Trade Shows. Coordinating appointments, scheduling meetings, and ensuring that the teams schedule is well-organized in imperative to their success. Administrative/Clerical Duties. Maintain Leads in Salesforce, maintain meetings schedule, file management, answering the office phone. Marketing. Ordering, receiving, and organizing our marketing materials including clothing, giveaways, and other trade show or presentation supplies. There will be some physical lifting required. Required Skills/Abilities: Strong customer service skills and mindset. Good planning and prioritization skills. Good phone and people skills. Not afraid to answer phone calls they might not know what to do with and putting that call on hold to find out. Detail oriented with a very strong emphasis on accuracy including correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Minimum 40 WPM typing. Must be proficient with Windows and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Good sense of humor. Must be able to lift 20 lbs at times. Beneficial Skills/Abilities: Construction experience is a bonus but is not required.
