Purpose/Summary
Support the Human Resource functions of the company.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Assists with the recruitment/selection process for new Associates.
  • Administers H. R. programs such as performance reviews and Leave of Absence.
  • Administers benefits programs, including communication, record keeping, and reporting.
  • Responsible for maintenance of personnel files and HRIS system.
Education and/or Experience (minimum required for the position)
  • A minimum of 1 year HR experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred..

Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • The candidate must be able to manage multiple assignments, work independently, and communicate effectively with all areas and levels of the organization.
  •  Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and build relationships throughout the organization.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from associates
  • Ability to follow instructions and guidelines to perform functions of the job as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
                This position does not have direct supervisory requirement. 

Physical Demands/Environment
This position requires the following physical abilities: to sit; to use hands (to finger, handle, or feel), to reach with hands and arms, to stand, to talk, to hear and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. In addition, the specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The work environment is mostly sedentary; however, there is occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration and to outside weather conditions.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
