Global manufacturer seeks a Payroll Specialist with proven experience processing high volume payroll. In this role, you will process withholdings of taxes, garnishments, timecard approval and processing, generate payroll reports, assist with administrative functions, and reconcile benefit deductions. The Payroll Specialist must have experience with basic accounting transactions, office support, and billing operations. The ideal candidate must possess excellent multi-tasking abilities, strong organizational skills, and solid time management skills.
Major Responsibilities
· Review and approve timesheets
· Process weekly payroll
· Maintain and update employee information
· Assist with tax reporting and compliance
· Provide administrative support
· Process garnishments and withholdings
· Review benefit invoices for payment
· Reconcile account inquiries
· Assist with vendor invoicing
The ideal Payroll Specialist will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.
Other requirements for the Payroll Specialist role include and are not limited to:
· 5+ years of payroll experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel & Word
· Strong multi-tasking abilities
· Large payroll software experience, ADP a plus
