| Required Skills: | The minimum qualifications for each position are included below:
Equipment Technician:
• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year experience in automotive, truck, and/or equipment repair
or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
and
• Valid Minnesota Class A Driver's License with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
• Ability to pass CJIS fingerprinting
Senior Equipment Technician:
• High school diploma or GED
• 3 years experience in automotive, truck, and/or equipment repair
or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
and
• Valid Class A Driver's License with tanker endorsement or the ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
• Ability to pass CJIS fingerprinting |

| Job Description: |
Carver County is looking for an Equipment Technician or a Senior Equipment Technician to join our team at the Public Works Headquarters in Cologne.
Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor - Fleet, the Equipment Technician or Senior Equipment Technician coordinates and performs a variety of duties involved in the maintenance and repair of County vehicles and equipment.
The classification and wage range will be dependent upon the candidate's qualifications.
