HPC Business Development Manager

We are looking for:

A Business Development Manager for Mexico who will play a pivotal role to growth actual market share of Home & Personal Care portfolio and increase sales in Mexico, Central America and Caribbean region.

We count on you for:

  • Besides strong technical background to support business growth and to achieve the commercial targets in terms of volume, sales and margin;
  • Deploy the Marketing and Sales strategy in Mexico, Centro America and Caribbean region;
  • Collaborate with Sales Team, Marketing, R&I and supply chain to build and deliver on an opportunity pipe in the grow segments;
  • Define and deploy the required business development and commercial plans, programs and activities at Home & Personal Care customers to support the opportunity pipe;
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of customers (maintain updated information about the customers and competitors, provide regular local marketing information, plan and participate on the lead contract negotiations and close deals);
  • Understand customer needs by acquiring key information (technical needs, sales forecast, service needs, market trends, and competitor information) from customers and share with sales, marketing/product management to strengthen company position;
  • Document activity and manage territory through the CRM tool (Salesforce.com).


You will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry;
  • Good experience in chemical industry dedicated to the manufacture of raw materials for the Home & Personal Care segments, preferable in business and product development, technical support to sales team, customers and distributors;
  • Business Development and Commercial experience or, either in Marketing & Sales;
  • Distributors management experience - nice to have;
  • Background in sales & marketing - must have;
  • Must have Fluency in English / Native Spanish;
  • Customer oriented and "hunter" personality;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Team player and collaborative mindset;
  • Ability to get things done and deliver impact through influence.
