JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Title: Custodial Crew Department: Operations
Manager Reports to: Operations Supervises Others: No DOL Status:
Part-Time;Events-based Exemption Status: Hourly; Non-Exempt General
Summary: Responsible for performing general clean-up and janitorial
duties throughout the Resch Center and Resch Expo. Job Duties:
Demonstrates and embodies the PMI Entertainment Group Culture and
Customer Service values. Responsible for conferring daily with
supervisor to receive tasks and priority assignments. Performs cleaning
and janitorial tasks, as assigned. These would include, but not limited
to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning,
washing, and waxing. Cleans up spills and biohazard spills to maintain a
safe environment for patrons and employees. Notes and reports any
irregularities or discrepancies to immediate supervisor. Performs event
set-up and tear-down, as necessary. Performs other related tasks as
assigned by supervisor. Responsible for following, observing, and
participating in all Company related safety programs, procedures, and
training, as well as reporting potentially unsafe procedures.
Approximately three to six months of related work experience required to
gain a full understanding of custodial operations. Must have proven
interpersonal skills to interact with supervisor, coworkers, event
staff, visitors, and outside exhibitors. Must possess physical abilities
and endurance to lift and move equipment repeatedly throughout the work
shift. Must be able to operate a floor buffer, carpet shampoo machine,
automatic driving floor scrubber, floor sweeper and other related
equipment. Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as
dictated by event schedule. Requires full range of body motion, manual
and finger dexterity to operate cleaning and outdoor equipment, and
eye-hand coordination to operate equipment such as a floor sweeper.
Requires standing, climbing, bending, and walking for extensive periods
of time. Frequently handles and lifts, carries, or pull items weighing
up to 50 pounds. Must be able to operate simple to complex and
heavy-duty machinery. Requires vision correctable to 20/20 and hearing
within normal range. Must be able to distinguish and identify colors.
Requires working in a fast-paced environment with irregular hours. Must
have the ability to give, receive and analyze information. Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities: Must understand people and be capable of
effectively communicating with them. Occasionally exposed to temperature
extremes, noise, confined spaces, moisture/dampness when performing
building custodial services. Approximately three to six months of
related work experience required to gain a full understanding of
