Senior Accountant:

The Senior Accountant for Fixed Assets is responsible for maintenance of the Fixed Asset sub-ledger system (additions, disposals and transfers) as well as month-end entries and analysis related to the Fixed Asset Accounting function. Additional duties include balance sheet account reconciliations, fixed asset roll-forward schedules and assisting with reporting and audit requests. The role requires an individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions. This position will be located in Dublin, OH

What You'll Do:

Maintain the Fixed Asset sub-ledger. Ensure that additions, disposals and transfers are recorded accurately and timely.
Perform month-end close duties, including posting depreciation expense and recording monthly accruals for projects in progress. This includes working with engineering, IT and other departments to determine that all costs have been recorded
Record Real Estate and Property Tax entries as provided
Record Other Tax entries as provided by the Tax department
Responsible for monthly analysis of P&L fluctuations
Prepare and ensure completeness of balance sheet reconciliations in addition to reporting on fluctuations over various time periods
Prepare schedules for monthly/quarterly reviews, internal audit team, and annual audit
Coordinate the tracking of projects in progress and reporting

Provide accounting assistance to internal business partners; respond to financial questions in order to meet business needs
Coordinate the annual fixed asset verification process

Create and maintain process documentation for assigned duties
Assist with Internal and External Audit requests as requested
Assist with Purchase Price Accounting during acquisitions

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or finance
Three or more years of fixed asset accounting experience
Strong attention to detail
Adapts to Changing Environment
Self-Directed
Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with varying levels of management
Flexibility to work, take ownership, and succeed in a rapidly changing environment
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to train others
Knowledgeable of US GAAP, IFRS and SOX
Microsoft Office (proficiency with Excel pivot tables and lookup formulas required)
SAP and/or Hyperion Financial Management experience is preferred
Proficiency with BlackLine
