Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in system software development (e.g., BIOS, BMC, Linux kernels, system libraries).
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience coding in C or C++.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with server standards and hardware protocols (e.g., I2C, I3C, SPI, USB, PCIe, NVMe, MCTP, PLDM, NVMe-MI, Redfish).
- Experience with open source server management software.
- Experience with open transport protocols, RPCs, encodings (e.g., HTTP, gRPC, JSON, Protobuf).
- Experience with CI-CD tools.
- Experience with open telemetry standards and protocols (e.g., gNMI, OpenConfig).

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support software in the embedded server.
- Work with open-source software like OpenBMC.
- Design, develop, and support distributed systems software interfacing.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain software test infrastructure from unit to integration tests.
- Manage vendor engagement from the design phase to integration testing, and delivery.
