Required Skills: | The manufacturing engineer will play a pivotal role in the production process of our solar panels. Their primary responsibility is to design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and systems to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The Manufacturing engineers work closely with crossfunctional teams, including design engineers, production operators, and quality control specialists, to create and improve production
A. Equipment and Process Improvement (50%) • To improve equipment or to devise a process for manufacturing products • To improve equipment and processes for large-scale manufacturing, planning, and testing methods of manufacturing solar modules • Creation and modification of electrical or mechanical drawings for the manufacturing line • Implementation and modification of production line equipment • Troubleshooting equipment • Support to install/keep new Solar Production line running (communication with Line Vendor and Building Contractor) • Achieve quality and production requirements in a safe and cost-effective manner B. Lean Six Sigma (20%) • Implement Lean-Six Sigma tools within the manufacturing line • Carry out process improvement projects within the manufacturing line • Support R&D Team for product and process improvement PRIMARY FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES Job Description C. Preventative Maintenance (20%) • Automation equipment within the manufacturing line (PLCs, drives, robots, HMIs) • Support maintenance, production, quality, and other teams when required • Assess problems within the manufacturing line and provide solutions to optimize equipment uptime in a fast-paced environment D. Other Duties as Assigned (10%) • Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance and Engineering Manager or delegate. |

Job Description: |
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with proven experience record in the automation industry or MS in Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with no experience · At least 2-5 years of automation experience, preferably within a high-growth, global, entrepreneurial environment · Experience with PLCs · Experience with Install New Production Line (preferably Solar Line) · Experience with automation components such as robots, drives, sensors, and HMIs · Experience in working with ERP software is considered an asset · Experience working in a project environment considered an asset · Experience with CAD (DraftSight, Autodesk, Solid Works) software · Knowledge of GD&T Geometric Dimensions and Tolerance · Proven ability to identify existing opportunities, foresee upcoming challenges and effectively react · Ability to analyze, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects · Experience with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint · Ability to take direction and work independently · Self-motivated Heliene offers medical, dental, and life insurance at no premium cost for our employees and a reduced premium cost for dependents/spouse, PTO, and 401k with match.
