Our client, a Plastics Manufacturer, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their rapidly growing team in Chicago, IL! We are looking for someone with Industrial Manufacturing experience, and strong Maintenance skills!

What’s the Job?
Our client is looking for a passionate and results-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team! In this role, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines by overseeing maintenance activities, leading your team, and driving continuous improvement.
What you'll do:
Oversee and plan maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, corrective actions, and equipment modifications.
Collaborate with production and scheduling to ensure timely equipment repairs and minimize downtime.
Lead a team of technicians by providing hands-on troubleshooting, training, and mentorship.
Foster a safe work environment through regular inspections, safety training, and enforcing safety protocols.
Analyze maintenance data and identify opportunities to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and production efficiency.
Manage spare parts inventory, prepare purchase requisitions, and collaborate with vendors as needed.
Implement Lean Manufacturing practices to optimize processes and reduce waste.
Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
Plan and coordinate equipment installations and removals.
Recommend and coordinate safety and technical training for your team.
Serve as the Maintenance Manager's backup during their absence.
What you bring:
Associate's degree in a relevant field or technical school certification (preferred).
Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment.
At least one year of experience leading/supervising in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment (a plus).
Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge a plus.
