SOFTWARE TESTER<br>
<br>
<strong>BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated SOFTWARE TESTER for an opportunity in Minneapolis, MN!</strong>
<br>

<strong>Position Title: SOFTWARE TESTER</strong>

<strong>Location:</strong> Minneapolis, MN<br>
<strong>Anticipated Start Date:</strong> 4/22/2024.<br>

<strong>Expected Duration:</strong> 6+ Months.<br>

<strong>Job Type:</strong> Contract, Remote<br>
<strong>Pay Range: </strong>$35/hr - $40/hr.<br>
<br>Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).<br>
<strong>Job Description:</strong> This position provides software quality assurance services for projects and systems. Supports the development of deliverables, which include defines, performs and documents product validation for new and/or modified applications. Investigates operational and process problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel. Maintains quality records and metrics status reports; guides and directs lower-level personnel on the set-up and performance of quality controls. Devises and applies quality controls for in-house and vended products. Assists in the execution of quality reviews under the direction of the project team or a senior quality colleague. May need to maintain test library and scripts in test management tools. (e.g. Quality Center).<br>
<br>
<strong>Skills: </strong>Strong background in productivity software, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Browsers<br>
<br>
<strong>Education: </strong>Bachelor of Science degree with training/experience in software development, software testing or quality control; OR associate degree in a computer related field and 2 years of professional experience in software development, software testing or quality control; OR 6 years of professional experience in software development, software testing or quality control.<br>
