We are building a new Data Stewardship team within Discover’s MarTech Data Collection & Measurement team to further elevate our capabilities in marketing campaign management, our processes and underlaying data. It takes a holistic view for the transition across dimensions of people, process, technology, and data to address end to end business problems and enable unparalleled experiences for Discover customers. You will work in a complex and challenging stakeholder domain with cross functional teams. This role focuses on data collected on Discover websites and mobile apps by analytics and 3rd party tags – the foundational value driver in Discover’s customer marketing ecosystem.
As a Business Data Steward, you will be responsible for understanding analytics and 3rd party tags data needs, establishing and enforcing data compliance standards and processes, and supporting data management and data governance initiatives throughout MarTech data ecosystem. You will partner with business, technology, analytics, compliance, business risk teams to ensure we collect and share data in compliance with laws and regulations. Additionally, you will also actively manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management. As an analytics and 3rd party tags data subject-matter-expert, you must understand both technical and business process context of the data, as well as online data privacy implications.
This role will be responsible for understanding data governance needs, enforcing data management standards and supporting data management initiatives throughout the entire data ecosystem. Partners with business technology and data analytics teams on the design through implementation to ensure solutions meet business requirements. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $88,500.00 to $149,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.Benefits:
