Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY

This position partners closely with Youth Director to support program success in the creation, oversight, management, and delivery of Hired youth programs. The program motto is ‘Each youth is one caring adult away from success.’ This is a fast-paced work environment in programs that have a strong history of community impact for disconnected youth ages 14-28 years of age. The program has expanded in scope and intentionality, and we see more opportunities to grow our programming to support youth success in school, work, and life. Position responsibilities are in two main categories: supporting a program culture that values data for both reporting purposes and program excellence; manage and oversee administrative and daily operations of assigned programs. This position will regularly communicate and interface with all youth staff and will be integral in team communications and program coordination. To succeed in this position, a candidate must build and maintain strong relationships with staff, funders, and community partners and have the ability to work on special projects assigned by the Program Director. This work is done both in the community and in person and remote work options.

Program and Team Management

Evaluate program performance and develop internal and external program reports. Communicate program progress/activities and opportunities or challenges to the program director.

Track scheduled report due dates, prepare and forward drafts and reports on a timely basis, respond to unscheduled requests for information or changes in a timely manner.

Assist the Program Director with various administrative/data entry/and program support tasks and help to modernize youth program processes and best practices in Hired youth programs.

Collaborate with other Hired departments, programs, and community partners to consolidate resources and enhance program performance.

Ability and willingness to respond constructively to rapid change and to lead by example while always exhibiting professional demeanor.

Capacity for regularly multi-tasking, efficiently organizing, and proactively problem-solving with proven time management skills.

Experience in the supervision of a diverse team.

Possess knowledge of youth workforce development programs and familiarity with government rules and regulations.

Ensure program activities meet the specified objectives and program goals.
