Toanwanda. Birgo. Maintenance Supervisor. $24 - $30/hour. Join our fast-growing team to improve lives through real estate! Birgo is a mission-driven company seeking a Maintenance Crew Leader to supervise ~230 scattered units and two technicians in Tonawanda. Pay and Benefits: * $24-30/hour (eligible for overtime when approved) * Medical/dental/vision benefits with employer contribution * Paid time off and paid holidays * 401(k) match * Professional development reimbursement * Discounted rent at Birgo properties Responsibilities: * Coordinate and complete work orders and turnovers (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, HVAC, etc.) * Oversee maintenance technician and assign work * Train and mentor team * Track work orders electronically on cell phone app to include photos and notes * Purchase supplies and maintain inventory * Schedule and coordinate vendors * Adhere to property budgets * Maintain positive curb appeal * Manage preventative maintenance * Handle emergency on-call service for after-hours maintenance * Other duties as identified to help Birgo improve lives through real estate Successful Candidate Profile: Work Requirements * Must be eligible to work in the United States * Must have a personal and reliable mode of transportation and an active driver's license * Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance * Must be able to work in confined spaces as well as ascend and descend ladders and staircases Skills & Qualifications * 5+ years supervisor experience * 10+ years maintenance experience (cabinetry, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall) * Any additional certification (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) will be considered an advantage Work Style * Ready to provide top-notch customer service to tenants despite gender, race, age, or sexual orientation * Servant hearted * Accustomed to using technology * Easily picks up technology concepts * Organized, detail-oriented, strong time management * Team player who can work independently * Comfortable working within established processes * Strong commitment to timely and accurate work Birgo's Values: Teamwork: We leverage one another's strengths to achieve more together.
