POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a talented Senior Project Manager to join our team at Canon Medical!

As the Senior Project Manager, you will provide hands on contributions to all aspects of projects in roles beyond the regular duties of a project manager. You are a key contributor in the identification of risks, problems, and obstacles that prevent work from getting done. You will use your influence, experience, and collaborative nature to identify and resolve problems, and by doing so enable projects and teams to move forward. You are involved day to day in the management and facilitation of goals and objectives of multiple projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES


Work with all departments to understand complex business processes and strategies.
Drive projects with collaborators towards success by taking on the responsibility of the project stages, starting before proposals and contract negotiations until project completion; ensure regulatory and legal compliance.
Creates a collaborative team environment to harness and aggregate individual ideas into large scale cross-functional solutions.
Ensure cross-department processes are aligned and supporting identified corporate KPI's.
Regularly identifies areas for improvement within the business organization and leverages appropriate resources to define and deploy solutions.
Manage large-scale projects throughout their phases, including business requirements, testing, implementation and communication.
Work collaboratively to ensure scope of projects meets requirements that align with corporate strategic initiatives.
Support the roll-out of business process changes and assists all levels of users from expert analysts to senior executives; ensure user satisfaction, monitor usage and provide training or advice as needed.
Works with Product Management and Marketing gather user feedback and notify the appropriate teams.
Establishes a deep understanding of structure and relationships with partners, collaborators, and Canon organizations and teams.


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND SKILLS

Required:


Bachelor's degree in a liberal arts, business, or computer related technology or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience managing large cross functional projects/initiatives
3+ years of experience managing interdepartmental Business Process Improvement initiatives
Experience in working with external collaborators, contract negotiation and execution. Strong negotiating and influencing skills
Ability to develop strong relationships with people inside and outside of the organization
Experience in Product Life Cycle methodology; active participant in multiple full life cycle projects
Strength in business process analysis and business process improvement implementation; experience with large-scale systems development


Preferred:


Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Certified Scrum Master (Scrum Alliance)
Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI) or Agile and similar iterative methodology experience
