JOB REQUIREMENTS: QUALIFICATIONS Must be 18 years of age and have a HS
Diploma or equivalent. Seamer- Must be able to read prints and use small
hand tools whenever needed to perform duties. Work is performed mostly
from a standing position, but must be able to work while bending and in
uncomfortable positions. Requires working with light to heavy materials.
Washroom- The Metal Conditioner must be able to read temperature gauges
and heat-treat charts for heat-treating and washing operation. The
employee must make routine adjustments and measurements. The Metal
Conditioner must possess basic arithmetic and must perform calculations
to complete order sheets and material completion cards. He/she must be
able to read the operating manual on Vapor Degreaser. This employee must
be learn/know how to add chemicals to the tanks on a daily basis, in
accordance with Q.C. requirements. The employee must be able to make
quality judgments on parts being removed from, washing, pickling,
passivating and stripping operations. Through use of test titration
records furnished by Quality Control Inspection Department, judge\'s
potency and proper levels of solutions to ensure effectiveness of
cleaning operation by adding chemicals as needed. This employee must be
capable of determining when the Still should be cleaned. Job duties
require pulling, pushing, and jerking electric hoists into positions
over and around heat treating ovens, degreasing machines and cleaning
tanks. The employee must use hands to individually load parts in many
cases, or use shovels to load small parts at any one time. The Metal
Conditioner must remain alert on the job. There are numerous parts that
are processed each shift which requires attention to parts
identification, timers, constantly changing priorities and
recordkeeping. Multiple operations are being performed simultaneously.
Shell Lathe- This position requires constant and visual coordination,
the ability to work from a standing position in a very hot atmosphere
for the entire shift. The position requires basic math skills. DUTIES
Leads by example and assists the Senior Group Lead with training.
Occasionally walks the shop floor and supports any issues that are
currently needed within her department. Uses experience to help assist
