JOB REQUIREMENTS: In addition to performing guest services duties as a
licensed, professional stylist, a Salon Manager is responsible for
leading and overseeing the job performance of a team of stylists and
ensuing proper salon operations. With the support of other management
team members, the Salon Manager is primarily responsible for all aspects
of salon operations, salon team performance, and salon team development.
The Salon Manager will accomplish this by consistently demonstrating
Company principles for guest service and technical excellence, using
company-selected techniques effectively, creatively and efficiently.
When acting as a stylist, the Salon Manager / Manager-in-Training
provides selected hair care services, such as shampooing, conditioning,
cutting, coloring, perming, relaxing, drying and styling hair, including
facial hair, and removing hair using hot wax and tweezers. The Salon
Manager / Manager-in-Training also acts as a Company champion and brand
ambassador in the local community, participating in community events and
meetings, and helping to oversee company-sponsored events that enhance
the communities in which we operate, and enhance the reputation and
desirability of the company\'s services and products. Job
responsibilities as a Salon Manager / Manager-in-Training may include:
Ensure everyone is welcome in the salon. Ensure every stylist that works
in the salon confidently and proudly welcomes every service for every
guest that comes into the salon. Lead and develop a team of creative,
enthusiastic stylists to help each to achieve their goals. Ensure all
salon team members can confidently, accurately, and efficiently perform
all job-related technical service expectations. Ensure all salon team

job-related customer service expectations. Create an environment that
encourages and rewards outstanding guest service, satisfaction and
retention. Lead by example: Demonstrating guest service and technical
excellence at all times. Create and maintain a salon environment that
encourages all salon employees to work together as a team. Recognize and
reward teaming behavior, and intercede as appropriate when conflicts
occur. Ensure the salon meets guest service, guest count, guest
retention, and financial goals. Provide oversight of the salon team,
including recruiting, selection and hiring, onboarding, training, skills
development, product knowledge, performance management, safety,
recognition, compliance with company policies, and compliance with legal
and regulatory requirements. Ensure proper salon operations at all
times, including the scheduling and job performance of all salon
employees. Help manage salon expenses. Support the professional and
personal development of salon employees consistent with company goals
and guidelines. Place and check in supply orders timely and within
budget; while ensuring not to run out of needed supplies to services
guests. Develop, encourage and participate in regular communication and
information-sharing with all members the Signature Two Company
Leadership Team. Check and respond to professional email, voicemail,
text, and other online communications at least once each workday. Lead
and actively encourage efforts to create e and share positive messages
and images on social media, including photos of services (before and
after), products, employees and communities. Be available to urgent
salon team and Company Leadership Team inquires outside of business
hours, and respond to or redirect inquiries as appropriate to the
situation. Perform hair services on guests greater than 75% of scheduled
time and meet personal performance goals. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE
AND QUALIFICATIONS: State of Wisconsin Cosmetology or Barbering License
required. Prior salon manager experience is welcome but not required.
