Key Responsibilities: * Manage the development and execution of budgets in collaboration with the Administrator and Grants Administrator. * Provide expert advice on cost analysis, fiscal allocation, and budget preparation. * Consolidate data for presentations to the Policy Council and Board of Directors. * Monitor program spending to ensure adherence to budget constraints. * Evaluate proposed budgetary plans and present alternatives as needed. * Provide regular financial reports to the Administrator, offering insights into the program's financial status. * Forecast future financial needs and contribute to seamless program operations. Qualifications: * 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in managing government-funded programs. * Knowledge of Head Start/Early Head Start Program philosophy and structure is highly desirable. * Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets, database functions, and financial analysis programs. * Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. * Critical thinking ability with a knack for problem-solving in complex financial scenarios. Education: * Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. * Must be able to successfully pass SCR clearance, fingerprinting and physical examination.
