About the Role

We are growing our Offshore Wind business and are now seeking a Graduate Engineers with a background or interest in fabrication and design of offshore structures. The Graduate Engineer will be responsible for providing engineering support to a portfolio of wind projects and to aid in the fabrication and installation of offshore wind assets.

This dynamic role will work closely with Bureau Veritas clients in offshore wind developments globally. Currently BV’s renewable clients include some of the largest players in the industry sector and as such this is a fantastic opportunity to work on some of the largest offshore wind projects in the world.

 

Responsibilities involve:  

  • To provide operational and engineering support to a portfolio of projects
  • Ensuring that all defined work scopes are met and contributing to engineering efficiency, reliability, maximising life cycle value and safety in design, through robust fabrication management, inspection, and quality assurance services.
  • Supporting the Project Teams in managing and developing wind opportunities for growth with new and existing clients
  • Working to project deadlines and delivering work packages to the client satisfaction.
  • Reviewing Design, Quality and Fabrication documentation for the project, technical authoring where required.
  • Facilitate development of project operational processes and procedures ensuring compliance with local regulations and legislation.

 

What are we looking for?

Skills and Experience

  • Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
  • Ability to network effectively across the BV organisation to access relevant data and knowledge
  • Highly motivated and able to work as part of a diverse team without supervision.
  • Experience in working in a projects or project engineering role
  • Clean UK Driving License ability and willingness to travel
