The Port of Portland is hiring a temporary Marine Boilermaker for our Marine Facilities!
We are seeking a skilled journeyman welder with a can-do attitude who would enjoy working in our unique Marine environment. The successful candidate will have experience working with a variety of materials in an industrial setting, and be able to follow work direction. In addition, this person will be a proven team player who promotes safety as a guiding principle and a regular practice in accomplishing work.
NOTE: This position is classified as temporary, full-time with an anticipated sunset date on or around July 31, 2024. Temporary employees qualify for health benefits, paid time-off, and boot allowance per the collective bargaining agreement. Generally, the schedule will be Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with occasional overtime and weekend work required.
