Manufacturing Engineer, you will use your education, skills, and
experience to support the operations team and the plant as a whole. You
will be responsible for utilizing engineering problem solving to fix
issues and make improvements to processes and equipment to increase
efficiency across the plant. You will identify productivity projects
throughout the site to reduce cost and increase throughput. This role
allows you autonomy to think outside the box while working towards an
end state, rather than following a pre-defined path. You will report to
the Manufacturing Engineering Manager onsite in Ladysmith Wisconsin.
Your Responsibilities: Identify opportunities for modernization and
automation throughout the manufacturing processes Develops, implements
and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the
manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and
final assemblies Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the
release of new products Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time
standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements
of new or existing product lines Maintains records and reporting systems
for coordination of manufacturing operations This position is
responsible for responding to manufacturing problems by investigating
and resolving such problems to assure a continuing flow of production
Complete process ownership for all aspects of assigned manufacturing
processes including managing projects proficiently, efficiently, and
with full accountability for project results is required This position
is also responsible for process improvement efforts, including
identifying core value-adding processes and maximizing their performance
and productivity while integrating and streamlining processes throughout
the supply chain and ensuring adoption of best maximum efficiency
