HealthPartners/GHI Non-Union Exempt Position Summary JOB CODE: 128334 POSITION TITLE: HR Technology Analyst Senior DATE: December 2013 DEPARTMENT: Human Resources REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: HR Technology Director
POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for support and maintenance of Human Resources Information Systems and processes for the HealthPartners family of organizations. This position with partner with Human Resource teams and IS&T to maintain current system functionality, implement new functionality and ensure data integrity. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance, and integrity of all Human Resources systems and related processes. Defines system requirements and coordinates enhancements to existing systems or develops new systems. Responsible for the extraction and analysis of data from HR systems and proactively identifies and develops HR metrics and reports. May act as project manager on technology related projects with overall accountability for project success. Responsible for developing and providing training on HR systems for the Human Resources staff. Interfaces with all HR staff and IS&T staff as necessary. Assists in identifying new HR needs and the software products to fulfill these needs. ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsible to set-up and maintain HR applications toensure that the data collection, reporting, administration and maintenance requirements for the organization are met
Coordinates systems planning, development and implementation for new functionality, patches and upgrades within applications supported.
Consults with relevant stakeholders regarding their system needs. Determines best solution based on resources available, negotiate issues as necessary and provide solutions where possible.
May bring together multiple users to identify and define system requirements and enhancements to existing systems and development of new systems to improve efficiency. Helps ensure that all stakeholders' needs are being met when practical.
Partners with IS&T to achieve desired outcomes for the continuous processing, handling and storage of human resources data.
Documents processes and information related to HR systems and processes.
Follows data integrity and security standards to ensure confidentiality of private HR data. Appropriately communicates security issues and concerns and make recommendations to management.
Communicates system upgrades, downtime, and other changes to stakeholders as necessary.
Provides ongoing technical support and training for users.
Writes and runs standard and ad hoc data reports. Creates reports, conduct analysis/presentation of targeted data, which will facilitate analysis, interpretation and decision making relative to HR processes, products and services.
May administer electronic customer surveys, consolidate results, and report to survey requestor.
May assist HR staff with office systems and hardware or software as necessary.
Manages all aspects of an assigned project, from beginning to end, with direct accountability for project execution while leading a project team, or teams, to accomplish specific objectives in a given time frame and with available resources.
Learns new software applications to manage and support the ongoing and continually changing applications within Human Resources. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree with five years of experience with related software applications or 8-10 years of experience with related software applications in lieu of a degree
Highly motivated to achieve customer satisfaction and must also be able to work both independently and in a team environment under time pressures.
Advanced skills in PC operating systems and application support
Knowledge of database architectures and end user software
Expertise in systems development methodologies and techniques
Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with HR systems used within HealthPartners.
Five years professional experience in Human Resources with HRIS experience or programming and systems analysis
Microsoft Office Certification
Certified project manager
