will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Position Title - VMI Technician / Backup
Delivery Driver (CDL B) Location - Green Bay, WI 1st Shift (Monday -
Friday) The Vendor Management Inventory Technician delivers and services
key vending account customers and customer cabinets / storerooms
relative to inventory of gases, consumables and safety products.
Additionally, this position does basic troubleshooting and mechanical
repairs as needed. This position focuses on servicing existing accounts
throughout an assigned district. Delivery and replenishment to customers
of various industrial products and vending machine or storeroom items.
Provides customer service through inventory management, order entry, and
answering questions as needed. Reviews manual stock levels of various
inventories at multiple plant departments for reorder Maintains
dedicated branch inventory levels for proper replenishment. Safely
loads, delivers and unloads cylinders containing compressed gases to
customer locations. Records deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest
and obtains signatures from customers for receipt purposes. Ensures that
vehicle manifests, vehicle placards, cylinder labeling and load nesting
and strapping at all times comply with Airgas safety standards and all
government regulations Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle
inspections documenting deficiencies; ensures all safety items are in
good working order. Strictly observes all safety rules and promptly
reports any accidents or injuries to management. Other duties as
assigned.\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_Are you a
MATCH? Valid Class B Commercial Driver\'s License. HS Diploma or
equivalent preferred. HS Diploma or equivalent preferred. Customer
facing experience preferred. Valid USDOT Medical Examiner\'s Certificate
(card). Hazmat Endorsement (H or X Endorsement). May consider
individuals with the ability to acquire a Hazmat Endorsement. Ability to
operate a vehicle with an air brake system (no air brake restrictions on
CDL). Must have one (1) year of prior Class B professional driving
experience within the last five (5) years Must have a clean driving
record to include no more than two (2) convictions; OR two (2) at-fault
accidents in the last 3 years; OR no more than a combination of one (1)
conviction and one (1) at-fault accidents in the last 3 years. In lieu
of experience, may consider accepting a diploma from an accredited
driving school or a combination of driving and prior Airgas specific
experience. Proficient working knowledge of Google Suite and/or
