AGRONOMY OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT  TOWER CITY, ND

Evergreen Cooperative is hiring a qualified individual to assist in the management and operation of its fertilizer and chemical business.  This position includes, but is not limited to the following duties and qualifications:

Primary Duties:
  • Management and operation of fertilizer and chemical facilities.
  • Operate forklift to load out chemical, seed and fertilizer to customers
  • Assist in mixing and loading of dry and liquid fertilizer
  • Assisting in pumping of Anhydrous Ammonia fertilizer
  • Receive and load out of grain and fertilizer
  • Crop protection product mixing
  • Asist in periodic cleaning and preventative maintenance of facilities and equipment
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned
Other Duties:
  • Assist with deliveries of chemicals and fertilizers as needed
  • Seed sales if qualified
  • Crop scouting if qualified
  • Financial and inventory manegement if qualified
  • Other farming duties.
  • All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience operating farm equipment
  • Experience operating Semi-Truck preferred
  • Experience operating loaders and conveyors preferred
  • Able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions and temperatures
  • Ability to work seasonal long hours when needed
  • CDL License or ability to obtain one
Additional Qualifications:
  • Agriculture background
  • Fertilizer, grain or chemical handling experience
Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive hourly wage or salary with overtime determined on experience and other factors.
