Your Role and Responsibilities
In this Software QA and Automation Test position, you will be responsible for ensuring high quality releases of the Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) suite of products, creating/updating complex manual test cases and creation of test automation to identify defects in the product before it is released to the market by:
– Create/update manual Test Cases/Test documentation for the product based on Product requirements.
– Automate test cases using our existing test framework (Java; Playwright; SoapUI)
– Analyse product design specifications and functional requirements
– Identify, document, and track defects through development lifecycle
– Reporting Status to Test Lead/Test Manager
– Cloud/Container skills (Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift etc.)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Manual / Automated testing
- Software Quality Assurance experience
- Manual & Automated Test experience
- Playwright Automation experience
- JAVA experience
- API testing and API automation experience
- Linux and Unix environment skills
- Deploying/Configuring test environments
- Debugging skills
- Experience within Agile Development Methodologies
- Ability to collaborate meaningfully and respectfully in a team environment under high pressure.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Self-Starter, quick learner of technology, who is also excited in teaching and transferring knowledge, be able to multi-task.
- Genuine interest in solving customer issues and software quality.
- Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Banking/Finance test experience
- Experience in other Automation frameworks, such as Selenium Webdriver etc
- DevOps skills
- CI/CD Build Pipeline experience
- Build Tooling (Jenkins, Ansible etc) and Build Best Practices knowledge
- Ability to see clarity in complex situations.
- Flexible and willing to adapt to quickly changing product requirements.
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects.
