About the Opportunity:

As a Snack Packer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our delicious processed meat products are packaged efficiently and meet our high quality standards. You'll be working with a variety of popular items, contributing directly to getting them ready for our customers. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the food production industry with a company that values its employees.

What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities):

• Carefully packaging a variety of processed meat products, including smoked hams, bacon, snack sticks, jerky, and sausages.
• Verifying that the correct product and quantity are being processed according to specifications.
• Operating packaging machinery, such as wrapping machines, safely and efficiently.
• Ensuring product is wrapped securely and attractively according to company standards and requirements.
• Preparing packaged products for shipment, including labeling and organizing.
• Adhering to all sanitation procedures and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintaining and cleaning assigned equipment and tools.
• Working effectively as part of a team to meet production goals.

What We're Looking For (Requirements):

• Previous experience in plant manufacturing or a similar environment is a plus, but not required - we encourage entry-level candidates to apply!
• Ability to comfortably work in a refrigerated environment (approximately 45 degrees Fahrenheit) throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours) on hard flooring.
• Ability to consistently lift, move, and carry up to 20-30 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work at the required production speeds while maintaining quality.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Must be able to pass a background check and 10-panel drug test. Client does not allow THC.
