Position Overview




Riverside Research is seeking a full-time project engineer to support an Air Force customer in Dayton, OH. The project engineer will work as part of a team identifying customer challenges, sourcing commercially available solutions, evaluating options, providing recommendations, and transitioning selected technologies to secure environments.


Responsibilities




Work closely with customers to identify and curate challenges impeding mission success.
Source commercially available solutions to mitigate customer problems.
Evaluate various options; provide recommendations on best fit.
Transition selects technologies to secure environments.
Prepare white papers, briefings, and present findings.


Qualifications




A minimum of 2 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, 1 years with a master's degree is typically required for an employee at this level.

Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance with SCI adjudication.
Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, mechanical, aerospace, or software engineering
Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction.
Demonstrated effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills.
Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel.



Preferred Requirements:

Pursuing a graduate degree in electrical, computer, mechanical, aerospace, software engineering, or engineering management
Experience interacting with Air Force organizations.


Global Comp




$60,000 to $$90,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
