Job Description:
Gundersen Health System is seeking a BC/BE OBGYN physician to provide care at our Winona Campus. Winona is part of our regional healthcare system providing care close to home for our patients.
Practice Highlights
* Schedule is made up of clinic, OR, and equitable call schedule
* Average of 15-20 patients seen in the clinic daily
* Practice consists of experienced midwife-great partner
* OR time and call will be done at La Crosse
* Minor procedures can be done in the state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center
at the Winona campus
* Deliveries in La Crosse
o Approximately 1700 deliveries a year
* High risk transferred to La Crosse at <34/40 weeks
o Level III NICU
* 24-hour in-house anesthesia coverage
* Ownership of practice but has support of a large system

Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system. Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.
