Job Description:
Need 12 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Hallock, MN.
From: 03/05/2024 to 12/15/2024
Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day
Workers will be paid overtime in accordance with Minnesota Statute 177, specifically 177.25 Subdivision 1 and/or 177.23 Subdivision 7(2).

JOB DUTIES: Record information about crops such as pesticide use, yields, or costs; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors (including 4WD), tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as sprayer, planter, combine, tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as wheat, soybeans, sugarbeets; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to employer’s fields, load employer’s crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Haul and spread topsoil, fertilizer, and other materials to condition soil; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 3 months experience; Driver's License or able to obtain one following hire; clean driving record; must be able to lift 75lbs.; able to work in extreme temperatures, with extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, and repetitive movements; possible random drug test post hire at no cost to worker, and testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. No minimum education required.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
