Minnehaha Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our growing team!

Minnehaha Senior Living is located directly on a bus route off om the corner of 23rd Avenue South and East 38th Street, in Minneapolis, MN. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 77-unit, apartment style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Join our team today!

Shifts Available: Full-Time Monday-Friday, occasional MOD weekend rotation
Wage: $22-$24

In this position, you will be responsible for overall management of the scheduling of clinical staff and pre-employment tasks under the supervision of the Executive Director and Director of Health Services. This may include public relations, marketing, general administrative duties, and oversight of the building and its programs with a customer service focus.
Duties include:
Create a welcoming environment by greeting all residents, tenants, visitors, and staff.
Guide and direct guests, tenants, and residents to appropriate rooms as needed.
Answer multiple line telephones in a polite, professional manner.
Maintaining scheduling program and conducting education on functionality of the program to staff.
Ensure the schedule is current, updated, and replacements are assigned as needed.
Assist with the tracking of employee attendance, as needed.
Updating and distributing tenant roster each month.
Assists in developing and maintaining mailing lists for the facility.
Managing and maintaining the phone system and the employee phone list.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Related administrative experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job is preferred.
Previous training in general office duties and equipment.
Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees.
Must possess advanced computer skills.
