Summary:

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will support the military community by providing technical support for the manufacturing of electronic products by working directly with assemblers, technicians, supervisors, managers and other engineers of various disciplines.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to the manufacturing floor.
Develop and implement product routings.
Develop specific work instructions by assigned work area.
Design, develop and/or modify tool/fixtures and identify/spec tools needed for manufacturing.
Assist in the review and selection of needed equipment and tooling purchases.
Assist with drawing interpretations.
Lead continuous improvement activities including assembly and labor reduction efforts.
Assist with standard labor time analysis.
Where applicable, assist with process capability studies.
Review and approve product design changes.
Assist with analyzing requirements that flow-down from engineering drawings, part lists, and change orders.
Member of the Material Review Board, handle material dispositions and standard repair.
Establish and cultivate a network of support (quality, manufacturing, engineering, sales and marketing).
Be a technical liaison between engineering, manufacturing and quality.
Supports the engineering and manufacturing groups with product issues.
Complete special projects as needed.

Knowledge, skills and abilities strongly preferred include:

Have an understanding of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.
Knowledge in materials, components and processes applicable to electronics and electronics manufacturing.
Knowledge of tolerance stack-up analysis (min/max/RSS) to solve mechanical issues.
Familiar with configuration control of manufactured items.
Able to conduct root cause analysis for problem solving.
Able to read and understand mechanical drawing & electrical schematics.
Possess excellent written and verbal skills.
Able to communicate with other departments, including manufacturing, engineering, quality and management.
Have a working knowledge of Autodesk (Inventor, AutoCAD, etc.) or similar.
Be an effective listener.
Be detail oriented and value ownership and accuracy.

Requirements Include:

Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
Associate's degree of Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university
Electronics manufacturing related work experience
ISO9000 and lean manufacturing experience
