Certification/Qualifications:

1. Michigan Certification as School Psychologist OR
2. A fully licensed Psychologist through Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA)   OR         
3. Preliminary School Psychologist Certification

Job Summary:  The school psychologist collaborates with local district administrators and school-based leadership teams on MTSS activities. This includes participation in problem-solving teams and requires knowledge of data collection and analysis, curriculum-based assessments, and tiered systems of interventions. The school psychologist assists the local district in creating system changes and increased student outcomes. They may be assigned to leadership or support roles on school teams. As a member of intervention and special education teams, school psychologists play a significant role in the MTSS process. The School Psychologist can support the local district with system change.
