Admissions Representative
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Under the direct supervision of the Director, Revenue Cycle/Facility,
the Admitting Representative is a patient service professional responsible for
coordinating & completing every phase of the admission function including:
admissions, pre-admissions, interviews for financial & demographic
information, obtains patient/agent signatures, document preparation for
all elective, direct and/or emergency admissions, revenue collection in
all settings, & data retrieval.
REQUIREMENTS:
*High School graduate or equivalent required.
*Must have ability to read, write and follow instructions.
*Ability to type 35 wpm required.
*Six months clerical experience, with patient contact, in a medical
setting preferred.
*Ability to communicate professionally and work well as a team member
required.
*Email skill required for communication.
*Excellent customer service skills.
*Good organizational skills.
