We are in the process of recruiting a General Office Clerk for our team located in Edison, New Jersey, within the Wholesale Distribution industry. In this role, your main focus will be on handling customer applications, maintaining customer records, and addressing customer inquiries. You will also monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner
• Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate actions as necessary
• Utilize Microsoft Office 365 for various office tasks
• Participate in picking and packing activities in the warehouse
• Profound understanding and proficiency in using Microsoft Office 365.
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role within the Wholesale Distribution industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated.
• Demonstrable ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
