    We are excited to offer a short-term contract opportunity to join a mission-driven organization as a Program Aide in South San Francisco, California. This role is designed for compassionate and organized individuals interested in contributing to a nonprofit that provides vital short-term housing solutions to those in need. In this position, you will deliver both administrative and customer service assistance while ensuring the smooth daily operations of the facility. The hours are 3pm - 11:30pm Monday to Friday and is about two weeks in duration.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Act as the first point of contact at the front desk, greeting clients, visitors, and staff.
    • Handle incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate individuals or departments.
    • Coordinate processing and distribution of incoming/outgoing packages and mail.
    • Welcome visitors while adhering to health and safety protocols, including conducting required health checks.
    • Provide front desk and reception coverage during breaks and lunch periods as needed.
    • Complete data entry tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized day room to ensure client comfort.
    • Manage the check-in and check-out process for clients staying at the facility.
    • Perform both indoor and outdoor rounds to monitor site safety and conduct bed checks.
    • Enforce facility policies and issue necessary notices in alignment with organizational guidelines.
    • Assist clients in accessing their medications.
    • Facilitate the smooth receipt and distribution of food donations and supplies to meet program needs.


    • Entry-level position, no minimum years of experience required.
    • Familiarity with the pick and pack process is desirable.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Exceptional organizational skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
    • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
    • Physical fitness to handle packages of various weights.
    • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work conditions.
