\$30.20 Responsibilities: The Canning Maintenance Mechanic is
responsible for safely maintaining the various equipment in the Canning
Department while assuming the responsibility of training and supervising
seasonal employees during the pack season. The Mechanic reports directly
to the Production Supervisor and/or Shift Supervisor in their
department. Safely perform a variety of skilled maintenance work and
trouble shooting to maintain the various canning department equipment to
ensure production levels are met. Knowledge of and experience in
critical control points for cook room thermal processes. Ability to
complete audits and maintain all required thermal processing, weight and
can seam integrity records. Train and lead seasonal employees. Ensure
compliance with the Product Certification Program. Head communication
with Receiving and Dumper Operator. Ability to learn how to operate
Video Jet, Fil-Tec, and Tap Tones. Ensures compliance with all approved
and applicable safety rules in the employee\'s area of responsibility.
Supports and facilitates in the implementation of the facility\'s
Continuous Improvement (C.I.) initiatives. Responsible for cleanliness
of working area and production zones. Coordinate the review of records
for the Canning Floor. Ability to work together with employees within
your department and within other departments. Assist on projects or work
in different departments as needed or requested by your supervisor. Del
