Job Summary | The Associate Director for Student Engagement & Traditions (SET) is responsible for the oversight of more than 200 student organizations and the planning and implementation of several campus programming initiatives. This position supervises a full-time Coordinator for Programming and Graduate Assistant and reports to the Executive Director for SET. As a member of the SET team, the Associate Director will serve as a leader within our Campus Involvement team. In this role, they will oversee training and development for our student organization community, lead the planning of campus traditions like Senior Brunch and Toast and Family Weekend, and advise our student media organizations. |

Department Information | Student Engagement & Traditions (SET) supports students throughout their Monarch experience with the goal of providing experiences that aid in the retention, persistence, and graduation of ODU students. The SET team oversees student organizations, fraternity and sorority life, ODU’s campus information desk, off-campus student life, large-scale campus programs like Homecoming and The Monarch Experience, and supports existing campus traditions while developing new ones. |
