Job Description: This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to the general public in guided tours through the Polaris Experience Center, Polaris Gift Shop, and Polaris Front Lobby, (professional and retail environments).

Specific skills and duties of the position include:

  • Exhibits good communication skills

  • Is engaging and professionally interacts with visitors/customers

  • Desires to learn history of Polaris

  • Retail or customer service and cash register experience

  • Open to work all shifts and weekends as necessary

  • Opening and closing responsibilities of the Experience Center and Lobby

  • Greeting lobby guests, checking in of guests, answering general questions, and helping to organize plant tours

  • End of shift reports

  • General cleaning duties

  • Accepting merchandise into the gift shop

  • Responsible for organization of retail merchandise

  • Answering and directing phone calls

  • Checkout program and department ride paperwork knowledge

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED

  • Preferred knowledge of cash register operation

  • Ability to work scheduled weekend hours and on occasion from 11:00am-6:00pm weekdays.
