Commercial Program Manager

About the role:
The Commercial Program Manager is an exciting role that connects Marketing, Sales, and Development, and plays an integral part in leading key commercial product global launches for the WATCHMAN division.
This role is a great opportunity for those with Commercial launch and Marketing experience to broaden their skills and learn a new side of the business within Program Management.
Primary responsibilities will include prioritization, planning, and execution of commercial product launches and strategic commercial projects.
Reports to Sr. Director, Watchman PMO
Your Responsibilities include:
Serve as Project Manager for key commercial projects within the WATCHMAN division of Boston Scientific's Cardiology group. Accountable for the cost, schedule, and performance of these projects.
Lead cross-functional teams (Sales training, physician training, sales ops, sales, marketing, marketing communication, communication, legal, regulatory, R&D, etc.) to develop & execute key product launches globally.
Managing basic project structure and governance (scope, roles & responsibilities, workstreams, risks, communication & alignment, etc.)for commercial launches and initiatives.
Develop comprehensive set of key project milestones and project plan to establish budget and resource plan.
Lead the team in appropriate decision making through the ability to organize and analyze options and build logical arguments.
Partner closely with finance analyst to ensure project plan remains aligned with business expectations. Monitor financial performance of project and adjust within project to stay on budget.
Fosters a working environment consistent with WATCHMAN business vision and mission. Keeps these elements at the forefront of decision making and actions.
Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g., compliance with FDA, EEO regulations, etc.)
Willingness to travel to BSC sites, vendors, customers, etc. as needed. Travel not expected to exceed 10%.
What we're looking for:
Highly motivated, driven, and dynamic individual looking to take on management of critical product launches within the WATCHMAN business.
Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Project Management, Finance, Engineering preferred)
Commercial experience is required. 2+ years of experience in Marketing, PMO, Sales, or Sales Operations with product management and commercial product launch experience.
Medical Device industry experience is strongly preferred. 2+ years of experience in Medical Device industry in some combination of Marketing, Program Management, R&D/Digital Development, Operations, Sales/Sales Operations, Clinical or Regulatory. Cardiology experience preferred.
Strong understanding of and experience with typical project management tools and techniques: budgeting, objective setting, schedule building, performance tracking, resource planning, decision making, aligning team, etc.
Demonstrated success in leading cross-functionally by influence and collaboration, motivating teams, and functions to achieve above plan performance.
Strong business acumen & strategic thought leadership.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate fluently and concisely to senior leadership.
Experience launching medical devices in US/Globally preferred.
PMP certification preferred.
