About Salesforce
We're Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too - driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good - you've come to the right place.
We're looking for a dedicated and motivated Copywriter to join our team. This person will help concept and develop creative work for Service Cloud, one of our biggest products. You'll team up with a full creative team of designers and copywriters under the guidance of our Associate Creative Director.
Our hope? You'll shine as the newest creative hard worker on our team, in our company and in our industry. We want you to find new ways to push our standards and expand expectations for craft, strategy and creative excellence. You'll create work that excites, delights, and resonates with our audience. And, of course, everything you do will be thoughtful and inquisitive, always supporting business objectives.
The Copywriter will need to express a clear understanding of Salesforce products - but that will come eventually. This is complicated stuff, and we're patient. You'll need to be on top of marketing trends and best practices. And be driven to convert complex and tech into approachable and human.
This job requires someone who loves to write and to think.
* Do you like crafting the perfect headline?
* Can you convert marketing jargon into relatable everyday speak with personality?
* Are you a conceptual powerhouse?
* Do you nerd out about craftsmanship, character count, and Oxford commas?
* Will you accept learning to lead and lead while you learn?
* Can you energize the same old with a fresh approach...
* and also dream up the "here's what we do next"?
You're in the right spot.
You'll concept everything from big campaign ideas to spot-on demand gen work. You'll make banner ads (of course), but you'll also write scripts and make films. You'll develop innovative yet-to-be invented creative, but also email campaigns. Social. Web. White papers. Keynotes Reports. Anything that requires breaking down product benefits and sticky difficulties into human stories: spot-on, heartfelt, and fun. And you'll be such an attentive self-starter that you'll unearth irresistible opportunities for us to create incredible work.
And you'll also create immersive experiences for our elite events. That includes Dreamforce, the biggest software conference in the world.
You'll need to be adaptable. This job requires leading multiple projects and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for presenting and selling work to our partners. Everything you do requires a clear point of view and creative strategy. Impress our partners with your creativity, collaboration and critical thinking, and display strong relationship-building skills and expertise in every scenario.
If you made it this far and your curiosity is piqued, one last thing: Salesforce is a fun place to work. Our brand has made giant strides over the past few years, and we aim to keep it growing and keep our values in sight. We provide professional development and mentorship whenever and wherever possible. We try to keep things interesting daily, which means there's never a dull day. And, most importantly, we lead with compassion. We're a supportive group that takes each other's well-being to heart.
Is this something you're interested in? Are you feeling stoked? Did you read through this job description and think, "A writer didn't write this. It's way too wordy. I can help!" If so, please apply.
Experience:

* Be an avid learner of the business and industry of our internal clients and external customers.
* Show curiosity and ask questions to get to the root of things.
* Proactively identify and develop opportunities that address gaps in our thinking.
* Participate in all necessary internal and external meetings - briefings, status, brainstorming sessions, and presentations - with senior leaders.
* Manage multiple projects for various clients, and work with project management to meet all deadlines.
* Present and sell work.
* Provide a point of view and express it well.
* Maintain strong, proactive relationships with all members of the creative team, as well as members of the partner team.
* Display a meticulous attention to detail.
* Be able to write, revise, and articulate the message of business stakeholders.
* Can effectively communicate across multiple disciplines, including advertising, email, web, events, presentations, and other digital engagements.
* Have some experience with corporate marketing and branding, and a clear understanding of marketing strategies and concepts.
* Express strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
* Interpret creative direction, follow brand tone and style guides, and keep a beginner's mind.
* Understand how SEO principles apply to page titles, headlines, links, and copy as well as how SEO increases organic search traffic and sales.
