Link Ford and RV Minong is seeking outgoing AUTO sales professionals to add to our staff due to expedited growth in 2018. Sales are up and we need the right people to assist in meeting the demand. We will train the right candidates. Aggressive commission based pay.

Experience / Qualifications:    

  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Able to read and comprehend instructions and information. 
  • Possess excellent communication and organizational skills 
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Professional appearance
  • Ability to sell minimum quota according to dealership standards
  • Able to work evening, holiday and weekend hours.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:
The Auto Sales Consultant is responsible for the impression our customers have of the dealership. The Auto Sales Consultant is directly responsible for selling new and used autos at dealership customer satisfaction standards. This position includes four broad areas of activity: personal work habits, prospecting, selling and follow-up. This position requires an individual with excellent people relation skills, product knowledge and sales ability. 

  • Realize that business is built on customer satisfaction and devote himself/herself to guaranteeing satisfaction of customers.
  • Establish personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
  • Determine each customer's auto needs by asking questions and listening.
  • Demonstrate new and used autos.
  • Deliver autos to customers and ensure that the customer understands the operating features, warranty and paper work to lay the foundation for customer loyalty.
  • Sell new and used autos.
  • Introduce the customer to the business manager and let the customer know that the business manager will explain the extended warranty and other benefits of additional coverage on autos.
  • Attend sales meetings.
  • Report to General Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews and analyses.
  • Maintain owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
  • Keep abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefits to customers.
  • Review and analyze actions at the end of the each day, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively.
  • Work with the service department and body shop to ensure that vehicles are reconditioned as expected and on schedule.
  • Maintain a prospect development system.
  • Understand the terminology of the auto business and keep abreast of technological changes in the product.
  • Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize to customers the quality and efficiency of the dealership's service operations.
