Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
Minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience including general municipal and design and construction is required
PE license preferred
Previous client liaison and project management experience or a desire to step into that role is required
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Desire to work in a consulting environment

Overview
MSA has an opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer at our St. Paul, MN office. You will have the opportunity to see, and contribute in, projects from start to finish. The various projects you'll be working on make a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve.
The work you will do
Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QC
Client relations
Design of municipal infrastructure projects
Assist with mentoring junior engineering staff
Preparation of plans, details, specifications, and bidding documents
Preparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects
Development of project funding packages with assistance from funding staff
Shared learning in a collaborative work environment
