About the Position The Warehouse Lead is primarily responsible for leading in a variety of warehouse duties including shipping, put-away and receiving, maintaining accurate inventory quantities of all raw, subassemblies, and finished inventory parts. Ensure the organization of the warehouse at all times. Position will maintain and control all inventory related activities within the warehouse. The role carries responsibilities for collaborating with purchasing, receiving, shipping and production departments. The Lead is a role model for good manufacturing practices, adherence to processes and procedures, and report issues such as non-conforming events to their Supervisor.
Shift/Schedule
First Shift: Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm OR 9am-5:30pm flexible schedule Responsibilities Accurately and timely record Inventory movements in ERP Oversees the yearly inventory count audit and performs ongoing cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Makes the necessary inventory adjustment in the ERP system as needed Responsible for custody, storage, accurate quantities and location of materials in the warehouse Monitor expiration dates of raw materials and report out product that is reaching expiration Process and fulfill additional material requests on a timely basis Schedule shipments for secondary operations processing Pick and re-shelf inventory as requested for production orders Collaborate with other departments to determine proper inventory levels Manages shop supply inventory and create purchase requests maintaining proper inventory levels Support and assist the quality department incoming and finished goods inspection process, as needed Manages shipping/receiving quarantine cage for non-conforming products and coordinated with QC on material disposition Perform cycle counting as defined by management and enter the cycle count results into the ERP Perform packing, generation of shipping documents, including commercial invoices, and execute on the shipping of products to customers per customer specifications Adhere to the company’s procedures and QMS Train staff in the warehouse, logistics and shipping Additional duties as assigned
