Job Description
Senior Federal Project Manager • GBA BuildersGBA Builders, LLC currently offers construction management services to clients in the Life Sciences Industry. We work closely with our parent company, GBA, Inc. in a design-build relationship to add value to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Be part of a Design-Build or CM@Risk team to develop projects and see them through from preconstruction to closeout
- Interact with clients and design team as needed to resolve issues and expedite the project
- Estimating assistance during preconstruction and during bidding phases
- Review project estimates with operations team (field and office) to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Quality control reviews of design documents and field reviews
- Schedule development, evaluations and updates
- Establish project budgets and forecast budgets to project completion
- Project bidding and buyout • both negotiated and hard bid projects
- Writing subcontract scopes of work and initiating subcontracts
- Safety enforcement when on project site
- Other duties as assigned
- Degree in Construction Science and Management
- 6+ total years of project management experience
- Partnership approach to working with architects and engineers
- MS Office Suite knowledge and excellent computer skills
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player
- Self-motivation and time management skills
